'SENTINEL' | For Sale
The first Alaskan 41 design to be launched in 2007, 'SENTINEL' is a beautiful example of this design that has been immaculately maintained and cared for. Built in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW by a team of professional boatbuilders with supervision from the Schionning Designs team, the construction is second to none with a beautiful luxurious finish and fit-out. She is very seaworthy and has completed voyages up and down the East Coast of Australia, as well as leisure cruising around the waters of Port Stephens.
The hull was a gold/champagne colour at launch, however 'SENTINEL' has recently been professionally re-sprayed to white as you can see in the photos above. The Alaskan 41 photo gallery below shows more photos of this vessel in her original colour scheme. She has twin 125hp Yanmar diesels, and can cruise easily at 16 knots (plus) while remaining very fuel efficient due to her semi-displacement hull shape. 'SENTINEL' features two large cabins forward with walk around beds, a head and shower and very spacious saloon area with ample seating and nav station, and more. Driving controls are on the fully enclosed flybridge (plastic clears) with a full 360 degree view for docking, picking up moorings or exploring a waterway.
Both Yanmar 125HP diesel engines have recently been overhauled and serviced, photos of this are shown in the gallery below. The boat is in immaculate condition and is a must-see for anyone looking for a beautiful, fast and efficient power cat. The owner is only selling due to downsizing to a smaller custom designed Schionning power catamaran to suit his changing needs.
