Offered in KIT form, these cats are very simple to build with comprehsive plans including a construction manual and full backup service. Some pre-made components are available to further speed construction and furniture kits are included in our standard kit pricing. Built using DuFlex flat panels and Durakore strip planking with epoxy, these very high quality boats offer excellent investment return.

The Wilderness 1030 is the smallest of the popular flat panel Wilderness designs, and features a range of comforts that you wouldn't expect in a catamaran of this size. A comfortable live-aboard platform for a couple or skipper and crew - the 1030 has generous sized cabins, a spacious galley down and generous headroom throughout. Available in a flat panel pre-cut DuFlex kit, this design will take you anywhere you want to go and safely.
The Wilderness 1120X offers a small step up in waterline length from the 1030, and offers a little more payload, and internal space than her smaller sister. Perfectly suited to a couple for world cruising, she is a safe, easy to handle design that can be taken anywhere. From Pacific cruising to the Panama Canal or beyond - the Wilderness 1120X can handle it all. This design features head/shower, spacious galley, seperate cabins and locker space for the cruising necessities.
The Wilderness 1250X keeps the hard chine Wilderness styling and offers yet again more in terms of payload, displacement and internal accomodation and space. The 1250X is offered in a pre-cut DuFlex kit and is suitable for amateur or professional build. The 12.50m length is a very popular one with cruising designs, as this offers a balance between space aboard and a managable waterline length when underway or entering/exiting marinas. Walk-through transoms and single level cockpit provide a clear area when sailing.
An extremely popular size, the 1340X offers a great package for those wanting to do serious world cruising with a small crew, couple or family. The 1340X offers plenty of accomodation in seperate forward cabins, with live-aboard amentities and the payload to carry generators, solar panels and watermaker. Walk-through transoms and wide side-decks with trampolines forward mean plenty of room for sunbathing and easy sail control running aft to the cockpit. The Wilderness 1500X is a true ocean-crossing blue water cruiser. This design has many many examples sailing the world, and has proven itself time and time again to be safe, efficient and a great performer, eating ocean miles day after day. Down below you'll find very generous accomodation, and more than enough payload to compensate for the cruising necessities, and the cruising luxuries. Brace yourself for the Wilderness 1650X, she boasts impressive interior accomodation, every cruising comfort and performance to match. This 16.50m cruising platform can accomodate a large family or family plus crew, and can take you anywhere in the world. The 1650X is a large catamaran and as such would ideally be handled by 2 or more crew when berthing or manuevering in close quarters.
