Waterline length is an appealing luxury. With the same rig height and very similar displacement as the 1240X, waterline length and some options in pre-cut and layouts are the main differences here. Designed for long distance blue water cruising with good payload to take all the toys with you, the Wilderness 1340X has long legs that will get you there at a good pace in total comfort and yet maintains ease of handling with good simple systems.
As with all Schionning’s she shares a pedigree of design with great bridgedeck clearance, ample reserve buoyancy and the latest composite engineering that our clients depend on.
Offered as a full pre-cut Duflex balsa kit this design is quick and easy to build. A full construction set combined with our building manual and individual project support gives you the ultimate in construction support. With engine, deck hardware, rig and sail packages available through Schionning Marine you are able to get the right bits, advice and the best price without the hassle.
